Macao promises stronger cooperation with Viet Nam

Hong Kong (VNA) – The Macao Special Administrative Region (Macao SAR) will beef up bilateral cooperation in the fields of investment, trade and labour with Viet Nam .
Head of the Macao SAR He Houhua made the pledge while receiving the newly accredited Vietnamese Consul General in Hong Kong and Macao , Pham Cao Phong, on February 4.
Phong proposed his host speed up the implementation of agreements signed during a visit to Macao last year by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem.
He urged Macao to create more favourable conditions for the recruitment of Vietnamese guest workers and encourage local investors to do business in Viet Nam .
The diplomat thanked He Houhua for his support to promote cooperative relations between Macao and localities of Viet Nam over the recent past.
